Kingston Counterbalance Forklift Training - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift is a forklift with a weight that counters the balance, enabling the load's weight to be spread equally across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are designed so the weight on the lift is counterbalanced by the weight behind the centre of gravity. The load is projected out from the front of the machinery so it is visible to the forklift driver. This particular kind of forklift truck must just be utilized on prepared surface or on level, stable ground.
Training is needed for forklift operators to understand the correct method to distribute the load equally across the forklift arms. Trainees would know how to raise and lower the load vertically and how to tilt the mast of the forklift both backwards and forwards between 5 and 15 degrees. Trainees will learn the RTITB standards required for safely operating the forklift. Trainees would also know the kinds of attachments for the arms of the forklift.
