Theory Programs
The feature elements included in the crane training school consists of information about regulations, inspection, power-line safety, and site hazards involved in crane operation. Trainees would acquire knowledge about hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Direct feedback and quizzes during the course will help people training solidify their understanding.
Theory course topics: Safety fundamentals for crane operators; introduction to crane certification process; crane operation knowledge; rigging knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; crane service and maintenance and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.
Practical Programs
The practical training section of the crane training school emphasizes hands-on learning. This portion of the course focuses on the identification and terminology of crane components. People training would have the chance to perform skills needed for crane operating, signaling and rigging.
Practical course topics: Learn crane terms; identify crane functions and components; use remote control; identify rigging and wire ropes; pre-use check on crane; identify documents and regulations for rigging and wire rope; perform rigging methods; use radio and hand signals; and carry out proper lowering and lifting of loads.
